S’pore Public Library Reopens On 1 Jul
Good news for those who love reading and students who have been looking forwards to getting themselves back into the libraries. The Singapore Public libraries will be reopening back on 1 July.

However, there will be a new set of rules such as shorter operating hours and a limited number of visitors allowed inside the library. The National Library opening hours will be 11 am – 7 pm every day. While the basic functions will be available to all which are borrowing & returning books, making reservations for materials, and dropping books.
All public are also advised to use the contactless borrowing and National Library Board (NLB) mobile app when come in to scan and borrowing physical library materials. While the new norm is 50 people are limited on each floor, with 30 minutes per person. While, with the new 30-minute time cap, it is advisable to make an online booking for a preferred time slot.
With the current setup, seating and study area, including newspapers and other stations won’t be available for the public yet.
