Do you enjoy fried chicken? McDonald’s Singapore will bring back the Chicken McCrispy to compete with your favourite fried chicken restaurant.
After its unexpected absence in 2002, the renowned fried chicken made a brief comeback in November 2020.
It’s back for good this time.
The Chicken McCrispy has returned.
That’s right, starting July 1st, you’ll be able to get your hands on the new Chicken McCrispy, which boasts slightly spicy pieces of chicken thigh and drumstick with crunchy golden-brown coated skin cooked with a unique preparation and cooking technique at most McDonald’s locations islandwide.
Furthermore, the new fried chicken item will be available on the McDonald’s menu permanently.
The Chicken McCrispy is available in two sizes: a two-piece bucket and a six-piece bucket, with pricing starting at $8.40.
Here’s how it works:
- McCrispy Chicken (2pc) Extra Value Meal, starting at $8.40
- McCrispy Chicken (6pc) From $21.50, get 2 medium fries and 2 small Cokes in a Value Bundle
- Bucket of Chicken McCrispy (6 pieces) for $18.10
From July 1st, The Chicken McCrispy will be available at all McDonald’s outlets island-wide in Singapore except for the following six McDonald’s locations:
- McDonald’s Clementi Avenue 3
- McDonald’s Parklane
- McDonald’s Tampines Kiosk
- McDonald’s Shell Tampines
- McDonald’s Shell Hougang
- McDonald’s Shell Havelock
The Chicken McCrispy will also be available for dine-in and delivery starting July 1 through McDelivery, GrabFood, and foodpanda.
McDonald’s LazMall stores will feature coupons for discounted Chicken McCrispy meals, as well as a chance to win free drumstick plushies and t-shirts.
From July 1 to July 31, McDonald’s is offering coupons for the Chicken McCrispy value bundle via its LazMall store on Lazada as a launch promotion. Each coupon voucher costs $20.50 (U.P: $21.50), and it may be redeemed using the My McDonald’s app at any McDonald’s location that serves the Chicken McCrispy.
You can also get a $1 off voucher for the six-piece Chicken McCrispy Value Bundles if you have a POSB or DBS credit card.
McDonald’s will also offer a $7.40 coupon voucher for its Chicken McCrispy Extra Value Meal (normally $8.40) on July 6. This promotion is valid for only 24 hours.
On July 6, a free McDonald’s Singapore Chicken McCrispy Drumstick Plushie and T-Shirt will be given away.
Limited-edition Chicken McCrispy merchandise, featuring a huge drumstick plushie in a bucket and a charming brown T-shirt emblazoned with a yellow McCrispy design, will be available up for grabs free on Lazada.
Details about the giveaway for the non-sale products will be announced later on the following channels:
- On July 6, at 8 p.m., Lazada’s KTHXBUY Weekly Bazaar will be livestreamed (through LazLive).
- On July 6, Lazada’s Facebook and Instagram pages will be updated.
