Lau Pa Sat Eatery Sells Out Early After Pride LBGT FLag Incident and Heartened by The Support
When an angry man threw the pride flag of LBGT at the staff at Lau Pa Sat eatery where the incident as the man who allegedly questioned their staff about a rainbow pride flag displayed at the counter of their Lau Pa Sat outlet, and he allegedly tear the flag and throw it at one of the staff later and even saying these people are destroying Singapore.
Following the incident, SMOL received messages of support from netizen and after that SMOL have more bustling sales than usual and the company’s founder Charmaine said that she was glad to have met many friendly patrons in person. The issue has been forwarded to police and she urged the public to let the authorities to do their job and not wanted the netizen to identify the main out by themselves.
She said the supportive comments on their social media has shown that love will always prevail. She’s also happy that the LGBTQ community and their allies will rise above the hate, and counter it with love instead.
