Group Worship Resume 26 Jun With New Safety Steps
As we are getting more into Phase 2, there are more services seem starting to get resumed such as services at places of worship. Starting from this Friday, some places of worship will be resumed of their mass prayers but with a stricter safety measurement to keep everyone safe.
The Minister of Culture, Community, and Youth (MCCY) announced that the Roman Catholic Archdiocese and Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) are both implementing the booking and registration systems. Since only 50 participants are allowed at a time, the worshipper must register their preferred mass or payer session spot earlier.
While for this Friday 26 Jun, Friday prayers can start to resume while the Catholic masses will resume next week. Other than this, Catholics are not allowed to church-hop as some practice among many who visited different parishes often. Plus, singing and live performance will not be allowed also doing the mass prayers and sharing of prayer items is totally not permitted too.
