Oversea S’poreans Must Register by 25 Jun To Vote
GE2020 is just around the corner, while the campaign and preparation for the incoming election is being the hottest topic in the whole islandwide. Singaporeans who are at oversea can still vote with over 10 overseas polling stations due to this sudden General Election announcements.
While some are already making and planning their ways back home, for those who can’t make it back home, there are a few locations for the polling booths.
In these 10 cities, you’ll have the chance to register as an overseas voter on the Elections Department Singapore (ELD) website.

- Washington D.C, United States
- Hong Kong
- Shanghai, China
- Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- San Francisco, United States
- New York, United States
There will also a microsite available for those to login using your SingPass to register as an oversea voter and because overseas polling stations can’t close later than the ones in Singapore, those in London will have to vote 1 day earlier, on Thursday (9 Jun).
Meanwhile, for those residing in Malaysia will have to return to Singapore in order to cast their vote on Jul 10.
