Thomson-East Coast Line Delay Expansion Plans Due To Covid-19
The Minister for Transport Khaw Boon Wan told the local news that the upcoming projects on Thomson-East Coast Line (Stage 2), Jurong Region Line, and Cross Island Line will be delay due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
The Thomson-East Coast Line (Stage 2) would have encompassed these 6 station opening
- Springleaf
- Lentor
- Mayflower
- Bright Hill
- Upper Thomson
- Caldecott
But then the whole process might have a delay, which the earlier deadline was 2030 as to rail coverage by 50% in near future. However, the current specific details on how this expansion delays will it place a huge impact on project deadlines are yet to known.
