Unpaid Leave Status To Deliveroo Food Delivery Rider

With the recent pandemic Circuit Breaker period, we have been receiving stories and facts regarding unpaid leave status from current occupations and the issue is still unknown until today.
Faizal Razi, a 38-year-old father was among these unfortunate ones. He has been working in the travel trade industry for 20years since he was 18 years ago. With the Covid-19 outbreak, all the tourism and aviation-related line were the first to get hit badly. With the current whole career on pause, and no other source of income during this time. A father of two children, aged five months and eight years old has somehow given hopes to Faizal after he decided to join Deliveroo as a food delivery rider.
Regarding Faizal, he somehow can guess that retrenchment will happen to his current job if the business didn’t manage to pick up after Phase 2. Therefore, he mentioned that he is considered blessed when he can manage to find this job offer from Deliveroo when he suddenly lost his source of income.
