DPM Heng Congratulate A Senior Officer SCDF Medic Who Treated Him
During the Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat’s cabinet meeting in 2016 when he collapsed and were receiving aid from Senior Minister of State Janil Puthucheary, who is a pediatrician was assisted by a group of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedics. The team which was lead by Staff Sergeant Janice Lee who just been commissioned as a senior officer received a personal congratulation from Mr. Heng.
Pm Leee mentioned that while he was unconscious, he said his colleagues were impressed by her team’s professionalism as she saw Dr. Janil giving Mr. Heng resuscitation, she wasn’t afraid of asking if Dr. Janil is doing it the right way and after she is satisfied with Dr. Janil’s explanation, Lt. Lee continue to provide support by maintaining and securing Mr. Heng’s airway include of helping to insert a laryngeal mask.
Indeed a great congratulation to Lt. Lee and her team for their great achievement and wishing that they will continues their lifesaving journey to aid us all in the future.
