2 Monitor Lizards Cleaning Up Python Carcass In Potong Pasir
In Singapore, it is very common for us to spot wild-life animals wandering around with our get nature as our city was always kept in good greenery balance.
A video was captured by a netizen when he was passing through Kallang River where 2 monitor lizard was feasting on a dead python remaining. From the NParks’ reports, it is very common for monitor lizards to feed on these dead animal carcass as a part of cleaning up these dead bodies which help to speed up the decomposition process of nature.

NPark’s also mentioned that monitor lizards are very shy in their natural habitat, therefore they won’t attack anyone unless they are being provoked. So, therefore, the public doesn’t need to be alarmed off when it happens to bump into these monitor lizard.
