National Musem and Asian Civilisation Museum Reopen On June 26
After the commencement of the second phase of Singapore’s reopening. The National Museum and Asian Civilisation Museum will be opening back on June 26. While the Indian Heritage Centre, Malay Heritage Centre and Sun Yat-Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall will follow on July 3 mentioned by the National Heritage Board (NHB) on Friday.
With the museum opening back to the public, all museum operators must be required to reduce their operating capacity to 25 per cent of the entire venue by limited visitor group to 5 people per group as a part of safe distancing measurement. Meanwhile, interactive exhibitions for children’s should be removed, and common high touch surfaces such as handrails, handles, knobs should be cleaned regularly too as a part of combating the virus infections.
