Man Gets 20 Months’ Jail And Canning For Molesting 9-Year-Old Girlfriend’s Daughter

On June 18, a 35-year-old man was sentenced to 1 year and eight months’ jail and three strokes due to his behavior of molesting a 9-year-old girl who is the daughter of his girlfriends. His identity cannot be named due to a court gag order to protect the victim’s identity.
He has pleaded guilty to one charge of molesting a minor under 14 and for this, he can be prosecuted and jailed for 5 years, fined, caned, or any combination of the three. The stories behind as they started to lived together in a flat from July 2018 as the girlfriend finds that he becomes too obsessed with her little daughter.
The incident was caught when one day on April 5 last year, as the man started to molest the minor by pulling up her shirt and then requested the little girl to perform a sex act on him by pulling her hand towards him and her mother happens to catch him in the act. Eventually, the daughter voice out to her mother that this is the first time he did it to her. Her mother then lodged a police report at Punggol Neighbourhood Police Centre on the next day after spending a night at a neighbour’s home to sleep on that night.
