Beaches Reopen on Friday, June 19
With phase 2 starting to kick in this Friday, Singapore’s beaches are among the list which it will get to reopen. Moreover, the National parks Board, also mentioned that this reopening will include playgrounds, skate parks, hard courts, fishing areas, dog runs, beaches, lawns and fields, shelters, and car parks.
However, food and beverage, retail, recreation, and convenience outlets in gardens, parks, and nature reserves will be subject to follow the safe management guidelines.
However, some areas such as the St John’s Island Lodge, which includes the holiday bungalow and three campsites will remain close for now. And galleries and attractions such as the National Orchid Garden will also remain close for now as prevention from involving large number of people gathering together and come to close contacts.
