F&B and Hawker’s center are now allowed to operate back after June 19, which will certainly be great news for those who have been waiting for dining in option for quite some time now due to the earlier circuit breaker period.
However, liquor sales and consumption are still remained restricted after 10.30 pm, and live music and television screening are still not allowed at any F&B outlets. According to Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong, this is to reduce the noise in the environment which would cause people to speak louder and spread droplets while eating.
Despite the resumption of dine-in services, the government still advises everyone to exercise the social distancing and always wear a mask, plus avoid going into a large crowded area.
