S’porean Man 30 Arrested After Assaulting 2 SDA

A Singaporean man 30-year-old has been arrested by police after reports received that there was a case on assault case on 2 Safe Distancing Ambassadors (SDAs) at the Compass One shopping mall in Sengkang.
The investigation reveals that the SDAs were on duty during that time and advise a group of food delivery riders to observe safe distancing and then this accuser who was not a part of the group confronted one of the SDAs and pushed him. He is also reported to assault the other SDA who tried to intervene,
For assaulting SDA while he was carrying out his duty, the main is liable for the offense of using criminal force to deter a public server and this offense can carry an imprisonment term of up to four years or a fine or both. For the other offenses, he can be imprisonment terms of up to four years or a fine, or both.
