S’pore First Female General New Faces To Run In Next GE
Ms Gan Siow Huang recently was seen at a walkabout at Bishan North Shopping Mall alongside Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen, who lead Bishan-Toa Payoh Group Representation Constituency (GRC) as one of its 5 MPs.
According to the local news, Ms.Gan has been active in a few grassroots activities for a few months, to spice thing ups. She is studying in Raffles Girls’ School in the past, she also has a SAF scholarship which entitles her to be one of the first 4 women to receive a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Merit Scholarship on her course to study at the London School of Economics.
She also has been reported that she has an MBA from MIT, while on 1 Jul 2015, she was the first female promoted to the rank of Brigadier-General in the history of SAF. She is now a deputy of CEO of e2i, chief commissioner of Girl Guides Singapore.
And she even has her name on the Hall of Fame on 23 Mar 2019. With a marriage with 3 children, she is certainly some impressive achievers who have quite some capable strengths behind her to make her a suitable candidate for the next GE.
