90 Dormitories Cleared From Covid-19, 30 More Cleared Last Night
With the outbreak in migrant worker dormitories around Singapore. The latest news by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) announced yesterday that 90 dormitories are now free of Covid-19. Which around 5,500 residents around these dormitories are reported to start working back again.
This indeed good news as these migrant workers were reported highly related to the number of suspicious Covid-19 cases which could be even worst if the action was taken seriously on the initial stage.
With the first back of 60 dormitories to be clear from Covid-19 free, it is still essential for this dorm operator to plan for better pick-up or drop-off timings while employers need to confirm this migrant worker on MOM database and these workers need to download the FWMOMCare and TraceTogether app to help maintain the current result of COVID free dormitories.
In meantime, around 30 more dormitories were also cleared which houses up to 8,400 workers according to MOM on Jun 9.
