Abandoned Monkey & Python, ACRES Appeal For Information
During the Circuit Breaker, keeping illegal animals such as monkey and snakes are a serious offence while on Tuesday 9 Jun, The Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (ACRES) were appealing for more information regarding an abandoned Monkey and a python.
The monkey was found on 27 May abandoned at a tree nearby 701 Geylang Road. As reported the monkey was in a very poor condition, had severe dental and gum disease, as well as tumours.
Meanwhile, on June 1, another live python was discovered at the bin centre of block 52 ChinS wee Road by a cleaner as the Python was tied up in a white plastic bag and were discarded nearby the lift lobby.
