First Pregnant Woman With Covid-19 Hit KK WOmen’s And Children’s Hospital KKH Like A Lightning Bolt

When Covid-19 is hitting all citizens around the world with just a span of a short period of time. Everyone is getting worries about how to contaminate this virus. But imagine if the case was tested positive for a pregnant mother.

KK Women’s and Children’s Hospitals’ KKH, they were the first one to discover this case. As one of the front liners, Juli Tay a midwife and assistant director in the division of KK Women’s and CHildren’s Hospital with her team express out the concern and stress they went through just to ensure the safety of the mother.

During the case, as she mentions, her team will never forget that day as she sees her whole team is just so devoted in their professional attitude and despite the hot and sweaty layer of protective equipment, they were constantly battling and ensuring the safety of this patient mother as first priority.
The hardest part for the mother patient was no family member is allowed to be at her side during that process. Therefore, Julie and her team have to be constantly there aiding by her side by answering her question, soothing her emotional worries, and cheering her up.

The patient expressed gratitude to all the nurse and doctor who has helped her going through the whole process as she later made a great recovery and was discharged.
