S’pore Might Learn From New Zealand Success On Covid-19
It has been 3 months now after reporting New Zealand’s first case of Covid-19, our Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong mentioned that it might have nothing to do with luck, but instead, they must have done something right and we might study from them instead to battle against this pandemic.
The meeting with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, she mentioned that from the start, all orders within New Zealand are under tight control and their families are being allowed to enter back into the country on their latest news and shall be placed under 2-week quarantine after their returns.
The New Zealand authorities also reported that they have very tight surveillance testing for the frontline worker who is working in the borders as there are one of the main places where this virus is most liked to be spotted first.
