SMEs Now Can Get Up To 4 Months Of Rent Waived With Help From Government & Landlords
During this Covid-19 Outbreak, a lot of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are being hit badly. But on the 3 Budgets announced by the government. It will be some relief for all SME owner, which the relief will come in 2 party, which are one part by landlord and another part by government.
With this Fortitude Budget, this will makes up to 4 months of relief for eligible SMEs. Which will indeed help out a lot during this time. On top of this, government will also give eligible SMEs additional cash grants worth up to 0.8 months of rent as a part of this budget.
Landlords can always apply for help if they can’t affoard to offer rent waive for their tenants. While for tenants who can’t vacate their premises due to Covid-19 will not given relief (Temporary Measures) Act.
