Singapore Police Force & Singapore Customs Manage to Confiscated 1.5Million packet of Counterfeit Cigarettes And 3 Were Arrested.
On recent join raids by Singaporean Police Force and Singaporean Customs on June 2, they managed to track down a counterfeit cigarettes in 3 containers, with worth of $1.1 million of 1.5million packet of cigarettes while 3 men age from 41 and 49 were arrested in this operation.
The whole operation were conducted simultaneously at multiple point location including Punggol Drive, Hillview Ave, Jalan Asas, Teck Whye Lane, Clementi Ave 2, Ang Mo Kio 5, Bedok South Ave 3 and Beach Rd.
Police will take serious view on these cases, as counterfeit goods are serious offences and Police will not hesitate to take action against anyone who found guilty of importing these goods, in result which may be fined up to $100,000, imprisoned up to 5 year or both if charged guilty.
