Singapore and China has arranged a Border Reopening for 6 Provinces from China Starting this 8 June.
It might be a great news for Singapore & China businesses or those who been stuck during these Covid-19 lockdown periods. As from 8 June onward, Singapore & China citizen will be allowed to fly as a part of the new Singapore-China “Fast Lane Agreement”.
The agreement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and The Ministry of Trade Industry (MTI), only 6 provinces from China side which are Tianjin, Chongqing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejing are allowed to be crossed. And all travellers must pay for the initial check up routine of Pre-Departure Covid-19 test with support from company or agency to get the 2 swap-test. This rules applies same for China citizen who would like to enter Singapore from the 6 selected provinces.
For this new system, both government are looking for a better stimulation on economy as to ensure the safety measurement is being take good care on the same time.
