Need To Work Out Then Work out at Home and If You Exercise Outdoors, Do It Alone

by Brian Chan April 22, 2020

Due to the tightening of the CB, now there are more restricted social distancing measurements are in place. Even for the exercising measurement as well

As reported by the Straits Times – National sport agency Sport Singapore (SportSG) is encouraging people to exercise at home from now.

In an advisory sent out late on Tuesday night, the SportSG emphasised the importance of staying active to stay healthy, but they are urging the public to do exercise at home instead of outdoor exercise. But there is no restriction of exercising outside but it’s not encouraged. If they choose to do so, they must now exercise alone and only in their immediate neighbourhoods.

Also a reminder that wearing mask is also mandatory for those who leave home to exercise, unless they are engaging in strenuous exercise.

SportSG also stressed that individuals should return home immediately once they are done with their exercise. All SportSG facilities – ActiveSG stadiums, studios, gyms, indoor sport halls, swimming complexes, Active Health Labs, The Float and The Rink@JCube – will remain closed during the extended period.
