The further adjustments have been made to train frequencies to ensure commuters can keep a safe distance from one another should they need to travel for essential matters during this circuit breaker period.
The LTA said trains will run every three minutes during peak hours, down from five minutes last Friday – the first day of adjustments to reflect lower demand following heightened safe-distancing measures.

The LTA will continue on to monitor the situation and fine-tune the frequency of trains as necessary to ensure all commuters can continue to practise safe distancing.
