In case you didn’t know, SIRS helps Singaporean self-employed persons (SEPs) with less means and family support tide over this period of extraordinary economic uncertainty.
And if you’re an eligible SEPs will receive three quarterly cash payouts of $3,000 each in end-May, July, and October 2020. Those who auto-qualify will receive notifications by letter/SMS from CPF Board around end May. For SIRS, NTUC will be assisting the Ministry of Manpower to manage applications and appeals of those who do not auto-qualify.
If you need to submit an application, the following will be required:
- IRAS Notice of Assessment 2020. This refers to income earned from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2019. The filing deadline has been extended to 31 May 2020. To file, click here.
- Register for SingPass if you do not have one
- Authorise MyInfo to display your Income and CPF so that the data can be auto pulled for your SIRS application. To do so, click here.
