No Joke. Police Really Catch if You Don’t Follow The Circuit Breaker Rule!

by Brian Chan April 7, 2020

If you think this circuit breaker, you can still go out and loiter then you’re wrong.  Government really want to implement this and ensure everyone is safe from Covid-19

But there are still some irresponsible people who taking this for granted. There was a guy still enjoying his meal outside his home until the also police officers showed up at the hawker centre at Redhill Market.

The video was published from ROADS.sg

Man caught for eating at hawker centre during CB period

Singapore, please abide by the Circuit Breaker rule and eat at home. The spirit of the law is 'social distancing', therefore sit alone anywhere and eat your food. As you can see, the 2 uniformed police officers showed up and confronted the man, who was seen with what appeared to be food with him as he ate at the hawker centre while standing up. It is not clear what the police officers told the two men, or whether any action was taken against them.

Please do take note that during this period, only takeaways are allowed. If you’re eating out, you can be punishable by law if circuit breaker measures are broken. Under the Infectious Diseases Act, first-time offenders may be fined up to S$10,000, jailed for up to six months, or both, if convicted.

So guys, please take this seriously and stay home. This is not the time to loiter but we want to break the Covid-19 circuit!
