The government is doing their part to To help Singaporeans going through hard times and they will set up a national MSF hotline that will offer psychological and emotional support.
Local advocacy group AWARE Singapore has reported that more locals undergoing distress and it recorded the highest ever number of calls in a month, 619, in Mar. 2020. It said that there was a “sharp uptick” in the individuals suffering from emotional and psychological distress and abuse.
As per reported on our Minister for Social and Family Development Desmond Lee Facebook post, the government will setup a hotline that will offer support to anyone — children, youths, adults and families. CARE officers, comprising psychologists, social workers, counsellors and other professionals with the relevant skills and experience will help link callers to social service agencies, or other services
