We understand that not everyone can work from home, but those who can, should be be doing it. Everyone is now encourage to work from home and it would be an offence for company does not to implement telecommuting measures if job scope allows it.

If employers do not reluctant to do this, a stop-work order may be issued, said Manpower Minister Josephine Teo – as per reported by The Straits Times.
Amid of the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, 100% telecommuting is the goal, says Teo during a press conference today.
Ministry of Manpower (MOM) officers will be assessing workplaces to see if work from home (WFH) measures are feasible to ensure that the workplace is WFH compliance. Those employers found to be flouting the regulations will receive a stop-work order.
