Pikachu-themed desserts, including a new McShake, McFlurry, and hot apple pie will be available in McDonald’s Japan as part of a Pokémon cooperation.
McDonald’s Japan has teamed up with Pokémon to create a line of delightful summer sweets. The menu, dubbed “Sweets Trio Fruits-Chu,” includes three products inspired by Pikachu itself.
From Friday, June 11th, 2021, a new McShake, McFlurry, and hot apple pie will be offered.
This summer, McDonald’s Japan will collaborate with the iconic video game franchise Pokémon.
There’s a McShake, a McFlurry, and a Custard Pie on the menu.

McShake with Peaches
Small (120 Yen or S$1.45) and Medium (200 Yen or S$2.42) peach McShakes are available.
Six different Pikachu-themed cup designs are available for the chilled treat.
McFlurry with chocolate and bananas
A thick milk-flavoured soft serve is blended with banana sauce, chocolate sauce, and banana-flavoured corn chips in this chocolate banana McFlurry (290 yen or S$3.50).
It will be available in three Pikachu-themed cup styles.
Custard apple pie
A crisp pastry is filled with warm vanilla-flavoured custard cream and cinnamon-flavoured apples in the apple custard pie (150 yen or S$1.45).
3 different Pikachu-themed package designs will be available.

According to Netizens in Japan, The Pikachu merchandise will be available starting on Friday, June 11th. The apple pie and McFlurry will be available until mid-September, while the McShake will be available until mid-July. You will not, however, be able to select your design when placing your order.
