5 Friends Having Meal Costs of $124 & Split Among, One Friend Use 30% Voucher & Refuse to Pay

When it comes to eating with your friends and usually the bill will be split among all, however, one netizen from Taipei, Taiwan shared that how he and four other friends had a meal together which cost them TWD$2500 ($124). However, one of his friends took out a 30% discount coupon and said that he wasn’t going to pay anymore more.
The netizen shared to his Facebook and he said that since there are 5 people eating which it is reasonable for each person to pay TWD$500 ($25) each. And after his friend who used a 30% discount coupon which brings the total bill to TWD$1,750 ($86) and the friend who thinks he saved the TWD$750 ($37) for everyone and was unwilling to pay any more money.
He said his friend had expected the TWD$1,750 ($87) bill to be split equally amongst the remaining four friends, which meant one person would only need to pay TWD$437.50 ($22). This caused a debate among other netizens where some think that the friend doesn’t deserve to be invited to meals in the future as he will take advantage of others.
