TTSH Cafe Staff Comfort a Crying Med Student a Free Coffee, She Graduated as a Doctor And Thank The Staff 1 Yr Later

A man who is working at The Living Well, a cafe at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) share on Facebook heartwarming stories on May 5. Where the man, Bruce Mathieu, recall that a young female doctor approached him on Tuesday, May 4 which she had visited the cafe last year when she was still a student in medical school and Mathieu spotted her crying and he went over to offer her a cup of coffee and asked if everything is alright. She then replies to him that she is having a very bad day.
The medical student who is now a doctor decided to return a year later to thank him for the coffee, Bruce can’t recall her name but he knows that she will be back at the cafe again and he mentioned that with a simple cup of coffee, the kindness can go for a long way.
