Taiwan recently has been hit by a serious drought which the famous Sun Moon Lake in Nantou county has change into a completely dry-up lake now. The lake was once a beautiful attraction place has now looked like a cracked basin of the dried-up lake look nothing like this before. This was due to the changes in earth’s crust over time and water collecting which being Taiwan’s largest natural lake at high altitude, Sun Moon Lake is also an important source of electricity driven by hydropower.

However, nature shifted again as the grass was spotted starting to grow on the exposed basin plain where it has transformed into a vast greenery landscape now. Many local tourists were also drawn to visit this unusual sight of Sun Moon Lake to enjoy taking photos of this vast Greenland.
