A cyclist in Singapore was caught on video crashing his head into the asphalt after his bicycle hit some stray metal object on the road and throwing the rider completely off balance. The 41-second video showed a group of cyclists was taking the entire width of the left-most lane as heavy vehicles overtook them on the right lane.

The cyclist was lucky that he is wearing a safety helmet during the fall downtime but his lower face might have faced some other injuries while his other cycling buddies tried to avoid from running into him and netizen comments that the group of a cyclist should not have taken up the entire left-most lane and other pointed out that the reason if they are riding in a public road, they might cause serious injury or death if a vehicle can’t stop in time from behind.
