Groups of 50 People allowed for walking, cycling and kayaking tours Starting from April 14

From April 14 onwards, all walking, cycling and kayaking tours will be allowed to expand their size capacity to 50 participants from the current group size of 20 people. The announcement was made by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the eight-hour limit for tours will also be lifted.
However, all tour participants must be split into a subgroup of no more than eight individuals with at least one-metre safe distancing and no intermingling between subgroup is allowed as well. Participants also must wear their face mask during the touch except for drinking. And Participant s also must use the TraceTogether token or app for the tours.
From April 14 onwards too, the application process for tour operators or tourist guides can resume tours and they n longer need to seek approval for reach tour itinerary and can apply to STB t resume tour operation under a single application.
Those who do not comply with safety management measures are liable under Singapore’s Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act. First-time offenders can be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$10,000, or both. Repeat offenders may be jailed for up to twelve months, fined up to S$20,000, or both.
