The Optimus Prime-Auto Converting Programmable Advanced Robot which costs USD 700 ($940) can actually transform from vehicle mode to robot mode thanks to a partnership between Hasbro and Robosen Robotics (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd which is specialized in programmable robots.
The 19-inch figurine is made out of 5,000 component, 27 patented servo motors, and 60 connected microchips, in order to achieve the ability to transform and the unit, can be also controlled by mobile app or voice commands which allow the owner to scream the iconic phrases like Transform and Roll Out.
According to its official site, the pre-order is now closed and delivery of these units will begin in October, while more units might be produced in the future.
