Gardens By the Bay Offers Large Glass Sculpture Exhibition From May 1 to Aug 1

Gardens by the Bay will have a glass sculpture and installation event spanning across the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and outdoor gardens from May 1 to August 1. With 25 large-scale installations where more than 80 pedestal sculptures and also American artist Dale Chihuly’s first major garden exhibition in Asia. This large-scale works will measure up to 10m and weigh as much as 3.6 kg and the pieces are shipped directly from Seattle and installed on site.

This exhibition was started in 1986 as a part of Musée des Arts Decoratifs, Palais du Louvre in Paris, Chihuly’s Persian series is a celebration of form, scale, and color. Which were a series of dramatic compositions which are installations mounted on walls, ceilings in the form of chandeliers and towers.
At this event, you can find the Chihuly glass collection which these glasses are using ribbed optic molds to molten glass, linear warps to create repetitive patterns and creating a fascinating object.
