110yo Grandma From Malaysia Celebrate Her 110th Birthday Which She Received MBOR Records too
On 31 March, Annamah Abukutty who is the oldest living woman in Malaysia was awarded the certificate of recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for being Malaysia’s Oldest Living Woman which she has held this award since last year. According to her son, M Subramaniam, she migrated to Malaya during her teenage years and just before the World War II broke out. She shared her knowledge in Indian traditional herbs when she moved here and worked as a midwife in her younger age. She is now mother to five children, two of them are still alive, 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is now wheelchair bound and lose her left eyesight but she still has a good memory. Her son also said that her mother’s secret to a long and healthy life is due to she consumes homegrown herbs and fasting once a week which is on Monday.
