Huawei’s 2020 Financial Reveal that the Average Annual Salary of their staff can reach as high as RMB 706,000

Huawei’s 2020 annual report, their annual sales revenue was around 891.4 billion yuan which the R&D investment has reached a new high which is 141.9 billion yuan ($29 million) which is around 15.9 percent of the annual revenue and the R&D expenditure in the past ten years has exceeded 720 billion yuan ($147 billion) while the Huawei R&D personnel has also reached a new high which is about 105,000 accounting for 53.4% of the company’s total number.
The annual report also show that Huawei currently has approximately 197,000 employees with operation in more than 170 countries and regions which serving more than 3 billion people worldwide. In 2020, the Huawei’s wages, salary and other benefits also reach 139.1 billion yuan ($28.45 billion) which placing their average salary per employee is around 706,000 yuan ($144,500) annually which is more than last year which their monthly salary is 59,000 ($12,080) yuan only.
Huawei shared their future vision where they see opportunities for social digitization, but there are also obstacles and difficulties in the way forward and Huawei future business direction is still to focus on ICT infrastructure and continue to focus on cloud, data and computing.
