New High Speed Transmission Cable of 15,000 km Length from S’pore to North America Will Complete in 2024

A new 15,000 km of high speed transmission cable of the largest or longest will be completed in 2024 which will link from Singapore to North American across the Pacific Ocean, this subsea Bifrost Cable system is a regional internet infrastructure which will boost the digital connectivity and network between Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Guam and the rest of west coast of North America. The project will be developed by Keppel Telecommunication and Transportation, Facebook and Telekomunikasi Indonesia International.
With this new undersea cable, the Southeast Asia and North America will have a more direct connectivity in future with the global data bandwidth demands and also 5G development demand and more. Facebook is also involved in another submarine cable project with Google, where the Echo Subsea cable will be the first to link Singapore directly to U.S with stops at Indonesia and Guam en Route to Eureka, California.
