For those who are unaware of things hidden in the north of Singapore will always find this place being isolated far from the main attraction or business hub. However, there are far more hidden gem here which are waiting everyone to discover them. Here are a list of thing you can find hidden in this part of Singapore.

Leg Powered Kayaking

Venture around the sea here with this kayak expedition which kick start from Sembawang Beach and then paddle around at various location in Singapore, and the best part about this kayak is where you can enjoy this reclined special leg pedal kayaks which offers a relaxing experience which is suitable for beginners, children who are over the age of 9. With a minimum of four participant, this kayak tours will cost $121.25 per person which is expected to last up to four and a half hours long as you can discover the nature along the Simpang River, Khatib Bongsu and Seletar Island.

 

Touring Crab

One of the best stops for those who loves crab where you can take a closer look here at this Lim Chu Kang area at the Crab Lover Farms, which is the only farm in Singapore that breeds soft shell crabs locally and it only produces 100 per cent organic crabs and using environmentally friendly farming way, wiht automation and technology to ensure the great quality of crabs.

 

Frog Farm

In this farm, Jurong Frog Fram which has the American Bullfrogs and can grow up to a huge size are being kept healthy and strong here with a good balanced of high protein fish meat diet and you will be able to learn more about the frogs’ life cycle here. You will be able to find some dish made from the uterine tubes of American Bullfrogs which is called snow jelly because of its smooth texture and the process of cleaning it is a very complicated process, and this dessert goes together with red dates, dried longan and ginseng. Other than this, you can also enjoy the fried frog legs which might taste even better than fried chicken.

 

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

With over 202 hectares of land here which are the official Nature Reserve park and also recognised as Singapore’s First ASEAN Heritage Park, where you can find this is the home to mud skippers, crabs, shellfish, water snakes, birds, spiders, monitor lizards and more. This farm tour is priced at $49.90 and it will last you about seven hours here.

 

Rainforest Terrarium Workshop

For those who wanted to learn on how to make a terrarium, you can enjoy making this indoor garden in a sealed jar which resembles an actual ecosystem in a smaller scale. Terrariums are closed to allow organisms inside it to create and regulate their own internal climate and this technology is discovered in the 1800s when a doctor discovered that it was possible to grow plants within a sealed glass jar and with this method, plants can travel long distances by sea and was used to transport bananas to England and Mango to Australia.

This studio, run by a couple who share a passion for greenry and it is located at the A’Posh Bizhub along Yishun Industrial Street 1 and the terrarium workshop is priced at $12.35 after discount and participants can opt for the bigger product too.

 

Katapult Trampoline Park

This indoor Katapult Trampoline park is where you can enjoy bouncing around and defying gravity with the help from trampolines and you can also challenge yourself for wall run, rock wall, bag jump and free fall. Currently, the limit for this park is limited to 65 person for safety measurement and now you can enjoy this with $13.59 after discount from Klook for one hour on weekdays or school holiday time period.
