Coastal PlayGrove With 4.5 hectare reopens with the tallest play area and nature playgarden

The former Big Splash Site at East Coast Park has turned into a new Coastal PlayGrove where the project completion by NPark’s as a plan to rejuvenate East Coast Park by creating more open spaces here with the 4.5 hectare space with several play areas. The area was closed for redevelopment in 2017 and finally reopens after close to three years on March 28, 2021.

Here you can find the Play Tower which is the main play structure here and it was reconstructed from the iconic Big Splash Tower with 16 metres high, there are a vertical net play area and two tube slides which are 7.3 metres and 11.9 metres high. There is also the Vertical Challenge available here such as stepping pods, hammock, hoop maze, zig-zag bridge, ball traverse, disc swing and more.
Water Play area also has wading pools, jets of water with illumination at night, two main pools which even have a platform to allow wheelchair access along the main pools and streams which open from Tuesday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm. Then there is this Nature Playgarden which are designed for children age three to twelve years old where it will encourage children to play in an open environment with greenery. There are also three zone where which are the bamboo tunnel trail, Teepees zone for imaginative play and lastly the sandpit train which offers native shrubs which attracts biodiversity.

Here there are also a 0.95 hectare lawn which has a capacity for 5,000 pax and sports activities and large scale event can be held here. There will also be a multi-concept food outlet called the Food Splash and other F&B outlet like Old Town White Coffee and Burger King available here.
