The Singapore Government is encouraging the public servant where the new shift of hybrid work mode comes after the announcement of general easing of Covid-19 measures in workplaces where more worker will be allowed to return to their office to work. The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that this new shift will allow workers to come back to work by three days a week, which is also up to 75 per cent of employees is currently working from home can now be at the workplace at any one time from the earlier 50 per cent.
However, the Public Service Division also mention that officers whoes agencies allow working from home more than two days a week can still continue to do so even after April 5. The government also will encourage staggered hours and hybrid ways to ensure ways of working to reduce travel on public transport during peak hours.
