Volunteers Join hand to Help an Elderly Woman Cleaning Up Her Flat Which is in Terrible Condition

An elderly woman in Eunos has been living in a very bad condition after the woman has scalded her leg and hand with hot water and couldn’t walk. When volunteers was alerted by her situation they found that the woman has been living in a very terrible and messy house which there are so many rubbish around the house and even infested with cockroaches and lizard too.

WP Marine Parade volunteers where determine to help her out on 27 March and the Catholic welfare group were also alerted to the elderly woman’s condition which they spend hours helping to clean the house. By the end of the day, volunteers has accumulated 10 trash bags worth of rubbish and, dirt and debris were piled up at the house which show a shocking view during the cleaning process.
The house is very clean now and a pest exterminator was also called by the welfare group to get rid of the home from unwanted pest.
