Victim Appeal for Video or Witness on Fatal Accident At Kovan Involving a Food Delivery Rider and Mini Cooper

On 23 March, a food delivery rider who was riding an electrical bicycle got hit by a yellow Mini Cooper which sent the victim to hit the Mini Cooper windscreen and passed away on 24 March morning. The victim family is appealing for video or witness on the accident where it happens around 10 pm on Tuesday night at the T-Junction of Tampines Road and Hougang Avenue 1.

The rider was stopped at the junction to make a right turn into Hougang Avenue 1 and the yellow Mini Cooper come and hit him from behind. The impact was so powerful that the Mini Cooper bumper and windscreen got shattered. On 25 March, the relative of the rider wrote on a Facebook that stated “the driver might be drunk driving”
