New Scam Appear with Pretty Sexy Ladies on Messaging Platform with message of “Hi, I haven’t heard from you…”

Recently, a new scam message appear across the island where the scammer are sending unsolicited text messages with an image of a pretty sexy woman to lure victim to communicate them. The police believes that this scammer is intending to phish for information or request victim to sent or transfer funds to them.

This scammer will then tend to exchange or perhaps asking victim that they are in some certain of bad condition and needed help badly then will instruct victim to chat on different WhatsApp message number. Members of the public are advised to block ahead when received such message and report these number to the in-app reporting channel.

Police advise the public not to sent money to these people who you never met and if there are suspicious URL links provided, just ignore this URL or check with the official website or alternative source and never share your bank account login credentials with anyone.

Those who have information related to such crimes, or who are in doubt over whether a message received is a scam are requested to call the Police hotline at 1800-255-0000, or submit it online here. Members of the public can also dial ‘999’ if they require urgent Police assistance.
