The Miss Grand is a beauty pageant franchise based in Thailand and the National Costume Competition took place on 24 March, and this beauty pageant is famous for the crazy costume. This round, Miss Grand Indonesia manage to catch people attentions with her satay dress! Yes! Satay Dress! The mastermind behind this design and concept was a team from the Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC).
Her costume where you can notice a grill pot on her skirt while on her back is a huge satay stick, and lastly the under her skirts was some condiments such as raw onions and cucumbers. Everyone just loves her dress especially those who always loved satay. Dubbed ‘The Edacious of Chicken Satay’, there are two different variations of the costume and she swiftly switched from one to the other mid-catwalk.
