Colourful Flowers Blooming Across S’pore Giving a Feeling of Spring Arrival

 

If you have been going out for some outdoor activities recently, you might have caught the sight of some beautiful flowers blooming across our island. As many Singaporeans manage to capture and shared these wonderful sight of colourful flowers around the island.

Trumpet Tree at Simei

This cherry blossom tree will gives those who has miss the Japan’s springtime all this while as they have somehow found themselves in Japan, as some netizen find that the tree resembles the sakura tree from Japan.

 

Yellow Saraca at Serangoon Park Connector

This yellow saraca is a relative for the ashoka tree which is a sacred tree in India, as the ashoke means “without sorrow” which some believes these flower can uplift your spirits.

 

Cat Claw Ivy at Pasir Ris

You can spot these sunshine coloured flower at Pasir Ris as these flower were spotted crawling along the street.

 

Pink Mempat at Pasir Ris Town Park

This light pink flowers or red and green foliage which resembles like the cherry blossoms tree but in more lighter colours.

You can spot these bougainvilleas comes in shades of pink, yellow, purple, orange or magenta and you might even spot these in your very own neighbourhood too as these flower are actually quite a common type around the island.

 

Malayan Crape Myrtle at East Coast Parkway

You might stop and stare at these rare scenery of red and orange colours flower which it will gives you the perfect blends of scenery along this row of beautiful Malayan Crape Myrtle trees.

 

Sandpaper Vine at Jalan Kembangan

This tree boast a star shaped flowers which can climb on fences and it has a rough textured leaves which is where it gets its name.
