Deliveroo Rider Gets $18,500 Bonus After Completed 21,500 Orders As Thank You Fund Initiative

Deliveroo, will be getting listed on the London Stock Exchange around end of March 2021 and the company is giving a one-time bonanza to food delivery rider as a part of Thank You Fund initiative to redistribute their listed great news worldwide. A Singaporean, Jude Chan, 33 has completed more than 21,500 orders in his three years with Deliveroo, where he delivers an average of 30 to 40 orders a day. For this, Chan is awarded this one-time payment of $18,500 and he is among the hundred of riders around the globe under Deliveroo company.

Chan mentioned that his trick to delivery more is to do a more brisk walk to collect food to complete the order faster and getting familiar with the roads in town and not relying too much on the map to get around. He also said that he first started riding as a way to keep fit while earning money but working with Deliveroo has transformed him to fall in love with riding a motorcycle. Plus, with the flexible working time, he can ride on his own time and pace.
Other than this, over 36,000 of Deliveroo riders around the world will get to receive the one-time payment rewards after the company be listed publicly, the exact amount varies depending on the delivery personnel’s output which eligible rider can stand up to S$18,500, S$1,850 or S$925 and the performance of rider are ranked in relation to other riders.
Deliveroo’s founder and chief executive, Will Shu said that riders are the heart of their business and they wanted to reward them for their hard work and formed what Deliveroo today.
