Batam and Bintan Are Set to Reopen In April 2 With PCR Test on Foreign Tourist

For those who are eagerly wanted to go travel again can finally rejoice as the Indonesia’s Minister for Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno mentioned on March 20 that Batam and Bintan has prepared to Singapore’s visitor again. With their newer preparation to ensure everyone safety, foreign tourist are expected to do the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test on their own country upon arrival and also the GeNose Test, which is a Covid-19 breath test detector developed in Indonesia. Visitor from Singapore will be able to travel to this two island via ferry soon in April.
Uno also mentioned that around 2,000 tourism worker in Batam and Bintan has been vaccinated and they are targeting to vaccinate 30,000 residents before April to implement the safe travel corridor.
