Ikebukuro Outlet of Famous Tokyu Hands Japanese Department Will be Closing This Year

On Friday, 19 March, the Tokyu Hands has announced that their outlet at Ikebukuro, Japan, will be closing in this coming September this year by Nikkei. The company explained that the reason because of the closure is a part of decision where the firm’s is restructuring their business after being impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and the firm will focus on their operation in Shinjuku and Shubuya branches in Japan.

This branch which were first open in 37 years ago in 1984 has eight floors of coverage, located along the Sunshine 60 Street where it is busy with a thousand of pedestrian passing by from the Ikebukuro Station.
